The Board of Directors met in January 2020 to develop a five year strategic plan, which resulted in our new mission "Advancing health through interprofessional education" and vision "THE source of interprofessional collaboration to improve health."

While some committees may appear to be the same, each has been revamped. You will be able to read the mission, vision, and deliverables of each committee below.

 

1. COMMUNICATION, PR & MARKETING

  1. Develop alliances with professional organizations and accrediting bodies that benefit the allied health and healthcare professions

  2. Develop industry partnerships to drive and promote research, publications, student activities/employment, conferences, and other activities

  3. Identify ASAHP champions (Members of Congress, association liaisons, and others) that will promote the needs and benefits of ASAHP

  4. Create ASAHP Tool Kits (working with Communication and Education committees)


5. RESEARCH, DISCOVERY & INNOVATION

  1. Create a platform and process to enable research collaboration and sharing of best practices among members

  5. Establish a Research Resource Center as a curted repository of advice and resources to faculty at all stages of research development
