  • How long have you been in your position? Since 2015

  • What’s the value of education in the health professions? I share with prospective students that the health professions represent about two-thirds of the entire healthcare workforce and offer a broad range of career options and opportunities. Further, there will always be a need for healthcare providers, especially those who find satisfaction in caring for others by using their professional knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, safe, effective care.

  • What is the value of ASAHP? ASAHP offers the unique opportunity for individuals from all health professionals to come together as a unified entity, thus increasing our cumulative ability to influence positive change. We, as ASAHP, can identify issues important to all and work together to develop and implement the best strategies to continue advancing the health professions.

  • What are you looking forward to during your ASAHP board tenure? I hope we can continue working to help ASAHP grow in national prominence and become a stronger voice to influence positive change for all health professions, as well as a significant resource for health professionals.
