Today the House Energy and Commerce’s Health Subcommittee passed the EMPOWER for Health Act, H.R. 2781, which reauthorizes Title VII HRSA health professions workforce programs. The Subcommittee also passed the Allied Health Workforce Diversity Act of 2019 as an amendment to the EMPOWER bill. The bill is expected to be considered in full committee next week.
