DIGITAL READINESS GAPS

Health care increasingly is moving in the direction of a greater use of technology such as mobile apps and telehealth. Apart from whether individuals have access to these technologies, a concern is the degree to which they succeed or struggle when they use technology to try to navigate their environments, solve problems, and make decisions. Newly released Pew Research Center survey findings address a related issue: digital readiness. The analysis explores the attitudes and behaviors that underpin preparedness and comfort in using digital tools for learning.
